Satellite Doge-1 is a community-driven token on the Solana network. This idea is brought to life through an Elon Musk tweet, and mission – to send Satellite Doge-1 into space.
The Doge-1 cryptocurrency aims to be used for space related trading in the future, just as the OG Dogecoin is being used today to fund the Satellite Doge-1 mission.
The Doge-1 mission aims to send a CubeSat satellite, funded by Dogecoin, to the moon. This mission gained attention when Elon Musk tweeted about it. It's set for a launch in Q1 of 2024, specifically 12 January 2024.
Geometric Energy runs the mission, using a SpaceX rocket for transport. Intuitive Machines, managing the moon ride share, incorporates Doge-1 into a bigger mission with their IM-1 lander. The schedule is subject to the usual industry adjustments based on ongoing preparations and conditions.
Investing in crypto assets carries inherent risks, the crypto market is highly volatile. The Satellite Doge-1 team and its members cannot be held responsible for any financial losses incurred as a result of participation in this project.
